Galentine’s Bead Bar, Feb. 13, Firefly Gallery

As Leslie Knope once said, Galentine's Day is all about "Ladies celebrating ladies." So, gather your gal pals for "the best day of the year" and kick it craft-style at The Galentine's Bead Bar!

Design your own bracelets with a choice of alphabet, clay, crystal, glass, metal, gemstone, wood, acrylic, and other beads! Spell a name, word, or phrase; pick a color theme; or mix together a bead soup combo to create the perfect accessories.

This gently guided craft is great for jewelry-making beginners, as well as experienced artists who just want to have fun in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Materials and tool usage are included. Please note, supplies may be different than those pictured.

Instructor Rachel Morgan Kalina has been creating The Wood & Watch jewelry since 2007. She’s taught students at The Art League of Long Island, Firefly, Socrates Sculpture Park, Nest on Main, and elsewhere. Rachel prides herself on crafting a welcoming atmosphere for students, and she looks forward to working with you, too!
